A group of like-minded patriots, bound together by pride in American exceptionalism, plan on building an armed community to protect their liberty.Of course, it could be a scheme, too, so buyer beware, indeed.
The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho. The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who "voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson's ideal of Rightful Liberty."
You cannot vote the Revolution.
You cannot buy the Revolution.
You can only be the Revolution.
If the torch of freedom doesn't burn in your heart, it is nowhere.

I just came across that today.
I wish them the best of luck.
I've seen this for a little while now, and the concept is very admirable. Unfortunately, it just screams "WACO!" at me.
In discussions of this, on sites run by people I respect? There are those who favor the project. Of course, others warn of a possible scam. Caveat emptor, indeed! :D
Regardless, we should all be developing our circle of friends or our "tribe" to multiply our chances of survival in a worst case scenario.
Many believe that the time for that is growing short. But even if those concerns prove to be unfounded, one can never have too many true friends.
Mike V. wrote a cautionary post about one of the ringleaders of Citadel.
I live about a dozen miles from Citadel's proposed site and frankly I would just as soon they went somewhere else.
It does scream Waco considering most people living in this valley would be sympathetic to Citadel's agenda and yet, many would probably resent the unwelcome attention.

It smells of a scam. Check out the names Christian Hyman and or Kerodin and read what the person has written also check out Sipsey Street Irregulars and do the same search. At best he sounds like an agitator - who could be .gov sponsored.
A Freeman can stand alone or with other God fearing Freemen, but should always beware of snakes and snitches.
Terry,
Do you have a link?
They will be worth watching to see what happens, and I think a lot of people will do that, sit and watch.
Those of us involved in the Citadel are well aware of Sam's background.
We are adults and freemen. We choose our associates and investments. If you are not involved (Vanderbough for instance) then perhaps you should do your own research(like talking to us) or sit and watch.
Hopefully that will work out well for your families in the coming "Troubles".
