Fjordman on open borders.

It’s nice to be kind and humanitarian, but the enormous migration waves we are currently facing are unprecedented in recorded human history, both in speed and in sheer numbers. At some point, the issue will no longer be about our humanitarian ideals or feeling good about ourselves. It will be about a fundamental question: Do we want something recognizable as European civilization to exist and flourish a century from now? If so, then the Utopian and dangerously naïve ideal of open borders simply cannot be sustained for much longer.

  1. I think it's too late. You can thank Ted Kennedy for this. The sad fact is not enough Americans vote and many of those who do vote for "free stuff" over their country. In 20 years you won't even recognize the U.S.

  2. I agree. The video images of people streaming across the southern border and Muslims demanding shariah (U.K.) ought, in my opinion, to send red-blooded men into a rage but no such reaction is visible (with a few honorable exceptions). I guess it has to come right down to civil war and foreigners fire bombing your house to cause the testosterone to flow again.

Here's a very good article that provides insight into who those non-voting citizens are.
