Women-Driven Democrats

And, by Women-Driven, I mean - they are using a very EMOTIONAL appeal to their base. That's it; they are all about the Id - that part of the brain that governs the Feelings of the body.

They are not trying to reach voters by a logical appeal - it's strictly emotional.

And, what kills them about this Trump pull is that he is getting the voters emotionally. They are feeling an emotional connection with the President, and it is absolutely KILLING the Left.

That clearly wasn't supposed to happen. The voters were intended to be turned off to Trump by an instinctive "Ew!". They hammered down on his crudity, his apparently rapacious appetite for women, his lack of style (Why they ever thought that was important to most of us is beyond me. Have they LOOKED at the average American in their customary clothing? Ralph Lauren, we're not.).

It's not too late for them - there is, after all, another year to the election. They have time for a turn-around.

But, I don't see that happening. It's the stereotypical inability of women to change what they are doing, in response to pushback. The female thing to do is to press down harder, in the same direction. Many women are incapable of admitting they were wrong.

  1. People generally have a hard time admitting they were wrong. The mechanism that compels it from us is negative feedback: when faced with a sufficiently painful consequence, we change course, however reluctantly. So the question becomes: Are women somehow more insulated against the negative consequences of their decisions and actions than are men?

  2. Short answer?

Probably. Men making a mistake have no shortage of people who will point it out.

Women, on the other hand, usually get a pass for errors.
