Blogger took this site down without warning yesterday morning. Here’s the email I received yesterday, December 8, 2025, at 9:57 AM:

I was stunned. I had no idea why Liberty’s Torch had been taken down – the email above doesn’t cite a specific reason – so I merely requested a review. The site was restored at 2:05 PM, again without any explanation for the original suspension.
This, the “V1.0” version of Liberty’s Torch, has operated without interruption since 2012. But as you can see from the above, I can no longer trust that it will remain in operation. So once again, I must make provisions for a new site, possibly at Substack. Watch this space.
UPDATE: Yes, there is a Substack account:
Give it a look.
I apologize. I have no doubt that the unacceptable content were my comments opposing the worldwide cabal to destroy Western culture and bring chaos to Western countries. Too much truth.
ReplyDeleteI believe the current far left conspiracy against Democracy and capitalism began with the assassination of JFK. It would take up too much space and time to cite all the events and evidence to support that claim. I guess you either know it already or you don't. Obama was supposed to be the closer and is still working behind the scenes to destroy the country. What scare me the most is they are no longer hiding, they are openly working to create chaos and this implies that they are more confident that they are in the end game stage of this coup. Get prepared, there's a storm coming.
This is unfortunate, yes, more so for you than me, but for me too. I dislike Substack even more than Blogger and Wordpress. That's as a reader. I couldn't say anything about Substack or Blogger as a writer.
ReplyDeleteI do wish you well, over there.

More than happy to suggest self-hosting. Yes, your ISP will change your IP address on occasion, as does mine. I typically see an IP address change once every few years. Updating your DNS address is relatively simple, and only takes less than an hour to propagate through the internet. Today's tools makes it relatively easy to self-host your own site. Give it a thought!
ReplyDeleteLong time reader here. Where ever you go I will follow.
ReplyDeleteWherever you land, I will be there.
