Washington State's refusal to comply with their new gun control legislation by a growing group of residents is another start. Connecticut's activism against _their_ new magazine and gun laws could possibly become the flash point.

If it becomes widely known that we can refuse to comply without serious consequence to some of .Gov's edicts, we could have a "What if they throw a war (as in throw a party), and nobody came?" non-violent revolution.

I don't really know if that is possible, but Ghandi and Martin Luther King had some luck along those lines. However -

"My nonviolence does not admit of running away from danger and leaving dear ones
unprotected. Between violence and cowardly flight, I can only prefer violence to cowardice." -
Mahatma GhandiReg Thttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14099612693763932005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557458849091969678.post-14516952326996149282015-03-10T15:25:08.594-04:002015-03-10T15:25:08.594-04:00Spot on, Fran. I haven't registered yet in Colorado, but will be doing so soon, and I hope that "Undeclared" is one of the options available.

Excellent article. Thanks. To the political-minded, a set which intersects deeply with state-worshippers, EVERYTHING is "a matter of politics".Backwoods Engineerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13666984602233967254noreply@blogger.com
