I am not military, so I can only speak as a civilian, but it seems to me that this all has to do with a race to the unspoken, perceived least common denominator, over some sort of ill-conceived "guilt". Women are the fairer sex, shhh, don't talk about it, don't even acknowledge it, pretend it doesn't exist, just let them into our "club", and wear red shoes to prove our commitment to the non-existence of a difference. (If there WAS no difference, WHY the red shoes? Hmm?) Open the borders, because there's no difference between a citizen and an illegal, so welcome them with open arms, even though the whole reason they're invading is BECAUSE there's a difference. Lower the test standards and stop punishing kids who misbehave, because there's no difference between the races. It's pretty simple. There IS a difference, in ALL of these things and more, and that's not inherently (necessarily) a bad thing...but the ones with the ostensible "advantage" must prostrate themselves out of guilt for receiving said "advantage", thereby supposedly leveling the playing field. It's the whole reason for trophies to the losers. At this rate, we'll all be living in caves in short order.

There IS a difference. It's not institutional. It's NATURE. They killed God because they couldn't control him. Now they're trying to kill Nature. They're coming for the individual next.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557458849091969678.post-36091819053649976752015-04-23T11:21:45.668-04:002015-04-23T11:21:45.668-04:00I saw the beginning of this crap back in '89 w...I saw the beginning of this crap back in '89 when I was in. I was one of those rare people who didn't have a used car salesman for a recruiter, so nothing really surprised me once I was there. Then during A.I.T. we had to attend a black "history" month assembly where we heard a few black veterans speak about their experiences in a segregated military.
As you can imagine, it degenerated into a rant-filled hate fest and afterwards a few fights broke out between white soldiers and a few of the more easily-provoked simians.
I was Airborne & one of the "soldiers" from 2nd platoon in my company (who was a leg) actually put together a petition and gave it to our company commander and said petition contained twenty five signatures of other "soldiers" in that platoon, whereby they demanded that all Airborne qualified soldiers in our company would no longer be permitted to wear our maroon berets because they felt it created a "class distinction" between us and them. Quoth the ring leader, "We are made to feel inferior.", this despite the fact that not one of us ever made a disparaging comment to any of them, we pretty much kept to ourselves. Luckily our company commander was having none of it and he dressed this leg down in front of the whole company.
I recently talked a friends son out of joining and I told him that all of the bullshit he sees on tv and college campuses is now peppered throughout the military as well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
