Barry was brash, but bold. The System tends to ward off those who would do the most good. Government - pretty much _any_ government - possesses strong antibodies to fight off those who might harm the Body Politic by making it healthy, instead of diseased, corrupted, as is its wont.
ReplyDeleteTru, Reg. German politics are exhibit A on that. Who they do have are all programmed to do exactly the wrong thing. I.e., they want to square the circle on "integrating" Muslims but refuse to say boo about the unconstitutional U.S. war on Syria (partially) causing the refugee flow.
