Pearls of expression.
If traditional religion is to be described as “the opium of the people,” the new revolutionary faith might well be called the amphetamine of the intellectuals.

But then, what have I been saying consistently? That they have MARXIANIC ZEAL.
I was telling the older progeny, who "got it" (I think), that it's OK to want to heal the world (tikkun olam). But it can't be done at someone else's expense (taxes) or at the expense of the country / civilization you live in (great replacement). And it doesn't work if it requires fundamental changes in human nature - because that doesn't change.
Personally, it's come down to working on myself to absolutely accept the choices of other people and lay aside any control fantasies other than to, perhaps, persuade one or two based on logic or facts.
My very modest plan to change anything around me involves being as pleasant, kind, and funny with individuals in my daily life. Anything more ambitious than that seems an exercise in futility.
