A New Future for the Planet?

We could do worse than paying attention to this guy, and letting him put his ideas into practice in some of the more arid and desert places of the world - like the Mideast.

  1. That's very interesting and kudos for the ecologists for figuring that out. It's very hopeful. I've seen the Saraha encroach on Mauritania and it's relentless.

The man's worship of climate change and the baleful influence of fossil fuels is off putting but it's not central to his work, thank goodness. Having been responsible for the unnecessary deaths of 40,000 elephants based on his best scientific analysis confirmed by other "experts," presumably in his same relatively narrow field, I suggest to him that something like CC involving infinitely more variables and complexity might also be approached with skepticism rather than receive his offhand acceptance.
