In all seriousness, I've been remarkably productive in the last week. I'm getting around better, have managed to work for brief periods. and am finally getting back to writing. I finished one short story, haven't gotten it put into the format for publishing yet.
I'm back to making progress on my Leftism for Beginners series. When I do complete a chapter, I'll put a link here. The individual chapters will be free downloads, for the most part. The eventual book will have its price set to a reasonable amount, and will be available on multiple platforms.
I'm feeling pretty good, so this is a good time to link to a truly disturbing post about Ebola. Raconteur Report has been updating the progression of the disease, and is - as far as I can tell - medically accurate, a rarity in the blogging world. No hype, but - grim prognosis.
RR's point about the homeless is important. The entire West Coast may, at some point, have to be quarantined from the rest of the country, if not the planet. Even after the population dies out, there may be pockets of the disease in animal vectors.
Too bad it won't burn,... oh wait.
ReplyDeleteI missed that you were down, glad you're back.
