One can expect more interventionist policies [in German] through 2021. Little has been learned decades after the government-controlled economies in Germany devastated the country in the twentieth century.[1]My earlier insightful observation comes to mind:
Only catastrophe -- Solzhenitsyn's pitiless crowbar of events, Ben Franklin's dear school, or the wrath of God -- appears likely to break through the armor plate of Western delusion.And, Lord have mercy, did I ever nail it.
With all this in mind, here's a choice comment by yerfej on the article in the note below:
Obviously the government should nationalize everything so that the price of everything could be reduced by leveraging the [government's] higher rate of efficiency.There are some serious cynics in this world. And we could do with a whole lot more of them.
