Adam Mill at American Greatness has concisely outlined the corruption mechanism that prevails in our time:
Corruption in modern D.C. is shaped like a triangle. A person or entity seeking a favor doesn’t hand the money directly to the politician or public official. Instead, the money goes to a trusted family relation under a vague “consulting” or “speaking” arrangement. This golden triangle of corruption appears over and over again in the Russia collusion hoax.
Mill goes on to delineate several examples of this process that arose in the course of the “Russian collusion” hoax. Those cases make it entirely too clear what the assaults on the legitimacy of the 2016 election and the attacks on Trump’s presidency overall are really about. Please read it all. You’ll find Mill’s last paragraph especially striking.
