In this era of pervasive fear of contagion, when blessed with any of the great miracles of life, it’s supremely important to enjoy it to the fullest. Catholics know this, and have incorporated praise of God for such miracles into our rituals for many centuries. Still, some adjustments to those rituals are clearly necessary, that we might all survive the current crisis and emerge stronger and more confident than before. But once we have made those adjustments, we delight in sharing our joy with others.
