Little Commentary Required Dept. (UPDATED)

That’s as complete a case as anyone could make. No one else on network or cable news has been willing to make it, or anything like it.

My main thought today is that Tucker Carlson had better watch his back. He’s Fox News’s top draw, but the rest of the Fox lineup has already gone limp before the Left’s threats and pressure. The pressure on Carlson to conform is likely to become immense. That he hasn’t broken yet is a testament to the strength of his convictions...and his character.

Stay strong, Gentle Reader. Demand investigations. Insist on facts. Pray for our country

UPDATE: The second wave of suppression has begun: "free speech" site Parler has just informed me that the URL of this site is restricted!

  1. What reason did parler give you for the restriction ( if you care to share )? Just curious as parler is now being pushed as the 'good' Twitter alternative?

  2. That seems very "twitter-like" to me. So now the question to be asked is parler actually a free-speech alternative?

  3. Very curious. I have a chat forum with about 40 active members. On November 4, I put this banner on the home page: https://i.postimg.cc/Sxq62jp6/E1j-FHEy-Yyo-DY.jpg. It also says 'Trump won'.

Yesterday I received a private message from a NJ member who is very concerned and thinks I should take it down. Part of what she wrote...

...'Who's watching me? there has to be some sort of surveillance going on. not enough to make me start wearing/making aluminum foil hats, be enough to make me go hmmmmm? i don't know if it's "urban legend", but sort of a joke that if you're not careful Big Brother (MIB) will show up at your door if you're talking about certain things. true? I have no clue. BUT i wouldn't go drawing attention with wording that includes "civil war", revolution, guns, revolt, assassination, etc.'

    The banner stays.

  4. Vox Day's site is restricted from Parler too.

  5. Do yourself a favor, and get on Gab. Nobody there is banning or restricting anything, except kiddy porn and threats of violence.

  6. My url is restricted too, Fran. The only place I've tried where I get any response or action is Codias and their seems to be a media silence about it.

  8. Do yourself and your readers a favor, and move to Gab. Nobody is restricted or suspended or blocked or shadow-banned over there, unless they're doing something obviously criminal, or trying to take down Gab itself. It is the only social media left, still committed to genuine free speech.

  9. If last night's monologue is any indication, it would appear that they got to Tucker. He focused on VOTER fraud (dead people voting, etc) while completely ignoring the ELECTION fraud, which is the electronic manipulation of vote totals at the state level, and is HOW they stole the election.

He also said that nothing seen so far is likely to change any outcomes. Really, Tucker? Really?? He also kept saying 'we', meaning we here at Fox. Instead of his normal fire breathing self, he sounded like a neutered pussy cat. Probably it was made clear to him just how far he could deviate from the company line without losing his job.

  10. Wonder if mine is (on Parler my ID is nitzakhon).

I have a STRONG feeling that ALL of the "free" email systems like gmail, yahoo, etc., are about to lock down on emails as well. It'll look like you sent an email, for example, but it simply won't get sent. And short of having a separate channel - another email, or a phone call, or... - how would you check?

I've been very hesitant to get onto gab, simply because the few times I've looked there's been a lot of open Jew-hate. DA JOOOOOOOS are behind everything. Ironically, I was talking with someone who noticed my kippa the other day and asked "With all that Trump has done for Israel, why did so many Jews vote for Biden"?

If I had a nickel for every time someone asked me that... :D

  11. Well, I'm certainly not going to sugar-coat it. There are loads of jew-haters there. Also loads of ethno-nationalists. But Gab has over 3 million active users now. The ethno-nincompoops are a tiny fraction of that population. And, the only way to make it better, is to BE there. That's why I'm still there. And still posting "normal" content on a regular basis. Plus, there's the block button.

That's how free speech is supposed to work. Nutjobs lose because nobody will listen to them, and because their opinions are easily refuted. Not because they get banned. The impulse to ban, is precisely why THIS site's url is restricted on Parler. If you don't want that to happen to you, stick with a platform that has an explicit commitment to first amendment jurisprudence.

  12. Signed up for Gab over a year ago. Could not post and it took multiple tries to find out why. They have me registered at an email I have never had. So far no luck on correcting this.

  13. I've used Gab to get word about posts out. Don't spend too much time there otherwise. When they first started, they got 'post-bombed' with viciously antisemitic garbage. They did a re-boot, and it's pretty much stopped the worst of it.
I'm not worried about the trolls that sneak in. It's still the least restrictive of the social media alternatives.
MeWe looked promising, but the final judgement is still out on them.
I've started cross-posting links on Parler; otherwise, little to do with them.
To be honest, I've cut down any social media use to a minimum. My own life is absorbing enough to take up most of my free time. At this point, other than posting an occasional meme/link, I don't bother with any of them. Too much drama, and heavy-handed efforts to 'nudge' my opinion in line with 'The Narrative'.
