If we consider a high-intelligence President who wasn't a schoolteacher (Jefferson) and a schoolteacher President who wasn't exactly an intellectual (LBJ), we can see clearly that problem might be schoolteacher Presidents.Josephhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720409839023747889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6557458849091969678.post-34039474897456202152013-11-13T14:52:55.617-05:002013-11-13T14:52:55.617-05:00I'm not in danger from Derbyshire's 2 std ...I'm not in danger from Derbyshire's 2 std deviation exclusion, but the 1 dev may get me. Nor is he 'driven'; note all the vacations and golf outings. Also when he's speaking 'off teleprompter' he tends to stumble and come off as a bit confused.
No, the ''brain trust'' is the 'handlers' around him - it's doubtful he's had an original thought in his whole life (and it's generally known that Dreams from my Father was almost entirely ghostwritten).
He's about as 'real' as the man or woman reading the 6 o'clock news in a local TV station where almost everything (including the supposedly ad-lib 'banter') is read off the teleprompter - try turning on the 'closed captions' when it's on, it's quite possibly the raw prompter feed) YIHnoreply@blogger.com
