From what I read at the time and lately, it's pretty unusual to go after someone as vigorously as the government went after D'Souza. Once part immediately leaped out at me:<br /><br /><b>"nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation"</b><br /><br />It's pretty clear, even to non-lawyers, that the civil AND criminal forfeiture laws are unconstitutional.
