Which, if part of my income didn't depend on a teachers' pension plan (actually 2 different plans with 3 income streams - mine and my husband's), might be amusing.
China is, after our tariff imposition, hurting. Not sure if they are hurting bad enough to cause a crash of their markets/companies, but - definitely hurting.
While American investors may unwittingly have their money tied up in Chinese companies, American regulators aren’t allowed to look at their books; Beijing regards them as “state secrets.” U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) has introduced legislation to delist companies from American exchanges that fail to meet our accounting and disclosure requirements. For this action, and a few others, Rubio should be praised. He's made some good moves while Senator, and seems to have a real future with Conservatives.

"Horrific"?
I think the word you're looking for is "glorious"!
After over-paying under-performing teachers and other state employees, and giving them six-figure pensions for doing two-digit IQ jobs, states may go bankrupt, and the whole welfare (actual, and via sinecure) gravy train to buy votes could melt down megagovernment forever?
That's a feature, not a bug.
Stock up on chips, popcorn, and beverages.
As for Marco Screwyoubio, he's dead to actual conservatives ever since he tried the 33rd version of Amnesty For Illegals.
His subsequent live televised throwing of the NRA and all gun owners under the bus for the failings of cowardly sheriffs in the Florida shooting, while sucking up to adolescent fascists, was just the cherry on his turdcake career. He's a unredeemable schmuck, on his good days.
Anything marginally good since then he may do therefore falls under the heading of blind pigs and acorns.
The prospect of a war between Red Rubio and Red China is like watching the Iran-Iraq War: I've no one to cheer for, and hope sincerely that they both lose, but only after prodigious mutual bloodletting.
Kudos to Rubio but I fear it's a harmless straying from the reservation. In 2016 he didn't scratch his nose without clearing it with Adelson.
