Have you noticed? No one has problems any more. No one has a character defect that demands correction. And no one is ever irritated. Instead, we have issues.
Issues, they say, are for “working out” – and you know how hopeless it is to argue with They. Of course, there are better and worse means of working out an issue, but we wouldn’t want to be judgmental, would we? Each to his own vision of the Good, the True, and the Beautiful!
Except that some of them are pretty damned ugly, aren’t they? Especially the ones that involve rape, murder, and rioting in the streets.
I’m a long-time admirer of Mark Steyn. There’s hardly any other commentator in the Right who equals his gift for unsparing penetration. He’s especially good at coining a pithy phrase. I have several of his books, and that pattern of penetration married to eloquence persists throughout.
But by my lights, one of his coinages stands above the rest. He made it in America Alone, in discussing the evil that has striven to displace national pride, patriotism, and love of justice: multiculturalism. He called it “societal Stockholm Syndrome:”
If Islamist extremism is the genie you’re trying to put back in the bottle, it doesn’t help to have smashed the bottle. At the core of multiculturalism is the assumption that a non-Western culture is somehow primal and immutable, but that an advanced nation is no more than the sum of its parts. It’s a kind of societal Stockholm Syndrome—a desperation to identify with anything that comes along other than your own.
That appears to have become the dominant approach to multicultural “issues” throughout Europe. Muslims think it’s just grand to kidnap and rape white European teen girls? Muslims force their own pre-teen daughters into marriages to much older men? Muslims harass Jews in public places, sometimes with violence? Well, it’s okay in their homelands, so who are we to condemn it? Besides, we wouldn’t want them to become angry with us, would we?
I have an issue with that. So did this young woman. But it appears that few of her countrymen share that issue.
Remember the Nuremberg tribunals? No, I wasn’t there, and I doubt you were either. But the principle they established is one that deserves a lot more thought than it routinely gets. They ruled that there is a standard of justice above all political law – that the Nazi war criminals brought before them could not stake their defense on the laws of the Third Reich, but must be judged according to that supreme standard.
Europeans who cower before the Muslims that have flooded into their nations are as culpable as any Nazi official who claimed that he was merely following the laws of his nation. They avert their eyes from vicious and savage behavior, preferring “tolerance” to being called “racists.” They permit those hordes to disrupt the public life of their countries, rather than assert their long-established norms. They shun all possibilities of confrontation.
And it’s coming to America. Muslim street prayers designed to monopolize parks, impede traffic, and assert dominance. Muslim demonstrations against Israel in public parks and before public places. Muslims marching and chanting for sharia — in Idaho, of all places. And no one says a word, much less does anything to prevent or correct it. Even in districts where there are water cannons and snowplows aplenty.

I got on the internet some time shortly after 9/11/01, when LGF was popular. I made it my business to learn about islam, and everything I learned led to the recognition that islam is an existential threat to Western civilization, that it is ugly, repressive, and thoroughly evil. mohammed was the anti-christ, and his adherents aim for nothing less than global subjugation. I wish I could recall the exact source material, but I remember clearly reading that part of the plan by the muslim brotherhood was jihad and conquest through demographic invasion. Any place with a muslim population is de facto a part of the ummah. They have no respect for the laws of the land, but follow the sharia. I'm looking, of ocourse at Europe, but Dearborn, Hamtramck, Minneapolis, and every moslem enclave in America is now conquered territory. They are not here to adopt our culture; they are here to impose theirs on us. The only answer isI to forceably expel them from the west. I fear that a global holy war is on the horizon. Indeed, it has been in progress for fifteen centuries. Will we win, or are we doomed?

I agree with you. I work as a Call Center Agent for a banking institute and we dont have problems. We have challenges.
It is the same but they (the boss and trainers) say, that problem creates a negative feel in the customer and that is detrimal for the company. They want the customer only feel good about the company.
And to the muslims? You will get from them the same answer as two US statesmen when they confronted the ambassador of the Bey of Algiers in London about the kidnapping of US soldiers (that led to the Barbary Coast wars).
What I write now is NOT my opinion. It is what the muslims say.
The Quoran gives them the right to do so. And as the Quoran is a direct order from God, it is above all human laws.
I know you will not like it, but if you are asking why we Europeans are taking in muslims.
Can you please explain to me Barbara Lerner Spectre of PADEIA, an organisation in Malmoe. She is jewish and wants even more muslims into Europe. Her reason: As the Europeans were not nice to the jews in the last century (to say the least) she wants to dilute the populations.
In numbers: In the past we had in Germany 99% Germans and 1% Jews. And then we had expulsions, the Holocaust.
Now Ms Lerner Spectre says, that if the population of Germany would be (EXAMPLE!) 20% Germany, 15% Nigerians, 20% Turks 15% Mongolians, 20% Chinese, 8% Aborigines and 2% Jews then expulsions or even the Holocaust can never happen.
No, she didnt write down those numbers, but someone read her articles and turned it into plain english.

She says that Europe is transitioning from monocultural, monoethnic and monoreligious (and anti-Semitic) to multicultural, multiethnic and multireligious (and implicitly philosemitic). We are in the midst of such a transition right now, though it has not been completed (true). Jews will play a leading role in this transition, not because they want to exterminate the White race, but because they see this as the best way to have safe societies for Jews.
Unfortunately the muslims that are therefore encouraged (by her, other leftleaning jews like Henryk Broder and leftleaning Europeans) to come, dont like jews.
And Netanyahu, who doesnt want the so-called Palestinians, and has no problem letting them go to Europe, doesnt think longterm, that those same muslims, leaving the Gaza strip, dont like Jews neither and therefore will highten the jew-hatred in Europe.

It has been said by others (with whom I fully agree) that Islam is a murderous death cult masquerading as a religion, whose emphatically stated intention Is worldwide domination through deadly force. This claim appears to me to be completely true by any objective analysis.
I cannot remotely understand why this odious ideology Is accorded First Amendment protections in this country, and similar protections in other first world countries.
Further, in my estimation, the owners of any mosques and ancillary supporting structures should be given, by law, a certain period of time (one year?) by which to sell these properties to an American who is willing to commit to demolishing said offending structures down to their very foundations, and planting an American flag in their midst as a symbol to reclaim the land in the name of freedom.
Islam has no legitimate place in our Founders' America.
