And the dogs that bark revolution.
Drunk with talk, liars and believers.

Long live freedom and damn the ideologies!"

Police State USA
We are frequently admonished by our rulers that "ignorance of the law is not an excuse". Your humble blogster has on more than one occasion witnessed this admonition uttered by the presiding judge in a court of law.
In this instance the law enforcement personnel, even at the supervisorial level failed to exhibit an awareness that the "law" for which this hapless individual was arrested for violating had been null and void for nearly a decade.
Even though our rulers often ignore the law, in present Police State USA the enforcers will lie to cover their "oops" events. In this instance the reporting officer wrote the following in his official "report": "...[the suspect] was being hostile, physically demonstrative and trying to incite a crowd."
These days in Amerika, the video camera is your friend. That is; if you can avoid being arrested for filming the police.

I used to have a good deal of respect for the police and police authority, but for too many years now I have seen videos like these or reads accounts of blatant abuse of power in which I can't help but conclude that the police have become no better than Nazis for the most part. They have no respect for the law, civil rights, or the citizens.
They have become little more than Union thugs, liars, cowards, tax collectors, and minions.
I hear you Mark. I was once a peace officer; retiring in 1979. By then I could see how affirmative action, political correctness and militarization were impacting the profession. If you haven't done so, check this out.

Interesting story, Leo.;)
What we see in so many situations involving authority is the complete loss of common sense or willingness to act reasonably.
