"Keep clear of the dupes that talk democracy,
And the dogs that bark revolution.
Drunk with talk, liars and believers.
I believe in my tusks. Long live freedom and damn the ideologies!"
(Robinson Jeffers)
Sir, I am unsure how to take this. My PM is an insensate moron; promising to legalise pot does not, to my understanding, qualify one to wield supreme executive power (which, of course, derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony). His father was, so far, worse, but we are noting aspects in the son that indicate a short distance indeed back to the ol' block. We hope we can survive intact until the next election, where there will be a chance to regain some lost ground. Of course, there is little to choose between the two types of liberalism, other than pace of agenda implementation. Regardless, Justin is a twit. They'd never admit it, but those idiots that voted for him are beginning, slowly, to regret their decision. What the world must think of us.... Mike in Canada
My sympathies to be sure. I didn't appreciate the nuttiness of Trudeau the Elder at the time but this son of his takes the cake as McInnes brilliantly demonstrates.
I try not to be harsh on people for their errors, given the long list of my own that I keep in my desk drawer as a reminder. HowEVerrrr, some people just work at stupidity every waking hour of the day. The entire Western world seems hell bent on identifying and embracing the most stupid, the most suicidal policy imaginable. It's a puzzle, it is.
