Lindsey and Donald will be unhappy.

With almost no announcement or media attention, the U.S. Congress a week ago Tuesday voted unanimously to pass the 2019 National Defense Authorization Act that included an amendment prohibiting President Trump from attacking Iran.[1]
The vote was unanimous if you can believe that. And it’s beyond odd that there’s been no media focus on this.
This might be the very first time since 2001 and 2003, that Congress has shown the guts to start reclaiming its constitutional authority regarding the dissemination of war.
At the present moment, however, American troops occupy and operate in Syria pursuant to authority for the U.S. to wage war in Iraq 15 years ago. That’s like telling Wal Mart that you bought a set of snow tires 15 years ago and the permission they gave to remove them from the store authorizes you to remove a $2,000 4K flat-screen TV today.
