The pitchmen working for the various Democrat aspirants to the presidency have not covered themselves with glory this campaign year. Amateurs have been outperforming them by a country mile. For example, I’ve been seeing this Biden For President ad at Gab.com and other places:
This one is not entirely bad. It does give us a strong sense of the candidate’s most striking quality. However, a candidate’s first need is to distinguish himself from his competitors:
And of course the candidate’s accomplishments must be emphasized, so the voters can see that he’s a man of decision and action:
Now that Dodderin’ Joe is the front-runner for the Democrats’ nod, let’s give him the outreach punch he really needs.
