Only the most lame, out-of-touch Leftist/Progressive/Left-My-Brain-Behind-at-Woodstock would have found this even moderately interesting. The connection with actual education is tenuous, the stage productions make Up With People seem trendy, and it seemed to have no purpose, other than to collect your personal information so they can target you for propaganda and donations.
Steven Jobs' widow, Laurene Powell Jobs, is heading this effort, along with Russlynn H. Ali, who served in the Office of Civil Rights under Obama.
Job's Emerson Collective is an LLC - which limits what information is available to the public. She is using the Emerson Collective to provide money to both for-profit and nonprofit companies. EC seems to be a standard Leftist/Progressive-oriented company.
