Even if chain migration were outlawed, the precedent it would set would still be a disaster.
He'd better make a good deal, iron clad, or he can forget about a second term. In fact he will likely be a half-term president. What pol in his right mind would invest all his capital and (sacrifice 60 million American voters) for a few foreigners (who can't even vote)? What is he thinking? Is this dalliance with feel-good Mexican 'children' worth the crashing down of his credibility? What does he want, 15 seconds of praise from the New York Times and a hug from shumer? Give me a break.
