Quickies: “If This Goes On” Dept.

     As I wrote yesterday, government officials are far more interested in taking credit for good developments than in accepting the odium for bad ones:

     The cover-up of New Year’s Eve sex mobs of Arabic and North African migrants in Germany continues to grow.

     Cologne Mayor Henriette Reker said Wednesday that women should adopt a “code of conduct” to discourage men from committing sexual assault. Gangs of migrants went on a crime spree last Friday night, which overwhelmed police and left scores of women at their attackers’ mercy.

     The mayor suggested women keep “at arm’s length” from strangers, travel in groups, and to ask bystanders for help.

     “It is important to prevent such incidents from ever happening again,” Reker said, the Independent reported Wednesday.

     Reker’s comments appear to ignore the fact that victims, often traveling in groups, were systematically targeted by gangs.

     I added the emphasis.

     The German government is creating yet another incentive for young Muslim men to swarm over Europe: consequence-free gang rape. Add that to the economic and religious incentives. Watch the “refugee” figures from this point forward, and ask yourself plainly: What is the German government’s real agenda? And how much more will Germans take before they rise up and overthrow it?

     In The Guns of August, the late Barbara Tuchman wrote that given a choice between disorder and injustice, the German mentality prefers injustice. Let’s hope there’s a limit to how much injustice, concealed and coddled by the State itself, Germans are willing to swallow before they review that preference. Granted that the historical precedents are not encouraging.
