Elites on both sides of the Atlantic have overplayed their hands. While making grand gestures, they’ve failed to demonstrate the basic competence to generate economic growth. Instead, they’ve produced redistributive schemes that allow them to enrich themselves amid general stagnation.Plus, those elites were enthusiastic about promoting massive, nation-destroying illegal immigration. An uncontrolled experiment on a global scale.
They mixed economic incompetence with treason.

That presumes that they actually intended to generate economic growth. Like as not, they didn't. They increased their own power and wealth, and further isolated themselves from the masses that they hate. They won that round.
The next round is reducing headcount to a small servitor class.
The interpretation that assume good will on the part of the elite is dead. They hate the Untermenschen and "excess" population is definitely not in their game plan.
