A Question For My Fiction Readers

Is there any interest in AudioBook versions of any of my novels or shorter works? It would take me some time to make them, but if the interest is sufficient I’d invest the time and effort.

If you are interested, please let me know.

I read at about 600 wpm, speech is ...150? Too slow for me. I've bought more than 500 books in the last 3+ years, no audio. I am however, an outlier on those and know people that swear by audio books...

Yeah, audio books are okay. You can listen to them while you drive. BTW, Linda Fox and I are back on The League.

That's very impressive Tracy. I don't know how fast I read but I know I don't read while driving and that's where audio books come in.

To get your feet wet, why not try that short story where an envoy from Hope went back to Earth to see what remained -- and got a nasty surprise. It contains some drama not all that common in other of your works and would provide you a chance to insert a bit of melodrama.

Now this added thought may be unusual for an audio book, but i'm not sure why that is. Could there some suitable music long out of copyright you could insert for the background in a place or two?

I don't do audiobooks, so my opinion is.. well, naught. But audiobooks do seem to be a thing, so it might be reaching out to an expanded audience.
