So many things in the narrative that don’t even come close to factual, yet most people believe them as reverently, as feverishly, as they believe in the efficiency of the IRS and the DMV, as in Santa Claus or the Gecko Lizard wants to save them money because he is a nice guy, or that their gov't loves them and just wants them warm, happy and safe.
